SWIFT CLASS NOMINATION PROCESS
The preferred method for completing a nomination form is through the
National Training website
Find the course you wish to take and click on the Nom Form link

You can also complete an NWCG nomination form, and submit it to your local agency fire training representative. This form can be downloaded by clicking on the link: NWCG nomination form

Each nomination must include all supporting prerequisite training and qualification documentation. Students that are selected for courses will receive notification via a Selection Letter.

Note - Classes may be canceled, combined or postponed based upon determinations made by the Southwest Idaho Interagency Wildland fire Training Committe. Note - If an individual wants Position Task Book (PTB) prior to class: Position Task Books (PTB) may only be initiated by the appropriate agency official at the trainee’s HOME UNIT, whereby that individual signs on the front cover that the trainee is ready for on-the-job training, task evaluation, and/or position performance evaluation.
