8/18 Pocatello South 5th Assist 5 human Fire started along I-15, near the Pocatello S. 5th Exit. Estimated containment for 1:30 p.m. on 8/18 and estimated control for 3:30 p.m. on 8/18.
8/17 Fort Hall Fort Hall Assist #1 1 not determined This fire started around 6:00 p.m. and was quickly extinguished by EIIFC resources.
8/10 Fort Hall Cove Springs 850 lightning This fire is approximately 16 miles east of Blackfoot. Containment was reached by 8:00 p.m. on 8/12 and control was reached in the evening of 8/14. This fire will remain in patrol status as occasional interior smoke and dust devils will be visible for an extended period of time.
8/10 Driggs Two Logger 0.1 campfire This fire, approximately 12 miles west of Driggs, was contained, controlled and called out by 4:30 p.m. on 8/10.
8/7 Pocatello Nordic 0.1 lightning This fire was contained and controlled by 11:15 p.m. on 8/7. It was located about 2 miles NW of Scout Mountain, which is approximately 12 miles south of Pocatello.
8/7 Holbrook South Carter 0.25 lightning This fire ignited about 2 miles east of the Grandine Wildfire. EIIFC resources had it contained and controlled by 3:00 p.m. on 8/8.
8/7 Holbrook Grandine 1.5 lightning This fire ignited about 7 miles south of Holbrook. 3 EIIFC heavy engines are working the fire area. This fire was controlled by 1:00 a.m. on 8/8.
8/4 Idaho Falls Dry Hollow 0.1 trailer This fire was reported at 7:30 p.m., 12 miles east of Idaho Falls. When EIIFC overhead responded, the small burned area was already extinguished. Contained and controlled on 8/4. EIIFC fire investigators worked the fire area.
8/3 American Falls Coldwater 4 human This fire was reported at 1:30 p.m. It is burning on private property near the Coldwater Rest Area along I-86, approximately 5 miles SW of Massacre Rocks State Park. Power County responded and asked for assistance from EIIFC resources, including one light engine, two heavy engines, air attack, overhead personnel and a wildfire investigator.
8/3 Idaho Falls Milepost 301 20 human This fire was reported at 3:00 a.m. It burned on Department of Defense property, along Highway 20, approximately 10 miles west of Idaho Falls. Two EIIFC heavy engines contained this fire by 8:00 a.m. on 8/3 and controlled at 4:30 p.m. on 8/3.
8/2 Chubbuck Res Line 26.7 human This fire was reported at 6:30 p.m. It burned on Fort Hall Reservation land, approximately 6 miles NE of Chubbuck. Two EIIFC heavy engines had the fire contained at 8:00 a.m. on 8/3 and controlled at 1:00 p.m. on 8/3.
7/30 Idaho Falls Blackhawk 1500 under
investigation
Located In the foothills of Idaho Falls near Blackhawk Estates. Containment was reached by 7:00 p.m. on 7/30. EIIFC Investigators are assisting Bonneville County Sheriff's Department with the cause determination of this fire.
7/27 Malad Mile Marker 11 3.8 human ISP reported this fire, approximately 2 miles south of Malad. EIIFC wildland fire engines responded. This fire was contained and controlled on 7/27.

Fire started on private land, approximately 7 miles east of American Falls. It is threatening Eagle Rock Creek. EIIFC resources include 8 heavy engines, 2 air tankers, one dozer and several overhead personnel. This fire was contained on 7/27 at 6:00 p.m. and controlled by 6:00 p.m. on 7/28.

EIIFC was not notified of this fire until 7/25, located in Arbon Valley, 12 miles southwest of Pocatello.  Discovered on 7/24 and suppressed by Fort Hall FD. Fire was contained and controlled on 7/24.

Reported by the Air Tanker Base on 7/24.  Fire is burning in agriculture land on private property within Fort Hall jurisdiction, 5 miles west of Chubbuck, along I-86.  Landowner received burn to ankle and was transported to hospital.  Fire was contained and controlled by 7:05 p.m. on 7/24.

7/20 Fort Hall Sands 151 lightning

Burned in brush and grass on Fort Hall land, which is protected by Idaho Falls District BLM. Fire contained 7/20 at 12:30 p.m. and controlled by 6:30 p.m.

7/20 Pocatello Bonneville Peak 0.1 lightning

14 miles southeast of Pocatello.  A single tree burned.  An EIIFC helicopter with two rappellers initialed-attacked this incident.  Contained 7/20 at 9:30 p.m. and controlled 7/21 at 8:00 a.m.

5 cigarette EIIFC resources assisted Bannock County in containing this fire on 7/19 by 6:00 p.m.
7/15 Firth Snake 22.2 campfire EIIFC engines and fire overhead personnel are working to suppress this fire that burns on an island of the Snake River, approximately 4 miles southwest of Firth. Two EIIFC investigators discovered that somebody left a campfire burning. The fire was contained on 7/17 at 12:00 pm.
7/14 Island Park Rock 0.1 human This fire is just outside of Island Park--about 1-2 miles northwest of town. One EIIFC engine controlled this fire by 6:30 p.m. on 7/14, shortly after arriving on scene.

7/8 Howe Howe Peak 1 under investigation EIIFC resources are fighting this small fire burning 5 miles south of Howe, just north of Mile Marker 9 Fire. Contained and controlled by 2:30 p.m. on 7/8.
7/8 Arco Mile Marker 9 1.5 under investigation EIIFC and INL suppression resources contained and controlled this fire (approximately 13 miles east of Arco) by 2:30 p.m. on 7/8.
7/7 Mud Lake North Lake 34 under investigation At 3:30 p.m. EIIFC dispatched 2 heavy engines, 2 light engines, 2 SEATs, 1 hand crew and 2 fire investigators to start suppression on a 15 acre fire north of Mud Lake and approximately 10 miles NW of Sage Junction. Firefighters contained and controlled by 10:30 p.m. on 7/7.
7/5 Dubois Ant Hill 1 human Local fire department and 2 EIIFC engines responded to an ant hill being lit on fire approximately 10 miles NW of Dubois, Idaho. The fire was contained and controlled at 10:40 a.m. on 4/5.

0.1-0.5 human One EIIFC wildland fire engine suppressed ten different fires near Arco. Originally the fire was said to be a single ignition, but has since been determined that it was a total of 10 fires, ranging from 0.1-0.5 acres in size. Each one of the ten fires was contained and controlled by 10:45 a.m. on 4/5.
7/4 Arco Arco Dump 0.25 human Fire was located by local fire department and one EIIFC engine at the Arco Dump. Firefighters contained and controlled this fire by 9:30 a.m. on 4/5.
7/4 Lava Lava (#1-#3) 0.1 human Three small fires near Lava were suppressed by East Idaho Interagency firefighters and equipment. They started on 7/4 and each one was contained and controlled by the early morning hours of 7/5.
7/4 Pocatello Bannock Assist #1 2 human Fire burned near the foothills of Pocatello, on Center Street. Local fire departments, along with EIIFC firefighters and equipment responded to and suppressed this fire. It was contained and controlled on 7/4.
7/3 Swan Valley Palisades Dam 0.1 escaped campfire This 0.1 acre fire burned public land at Palisades Campground when a campfire escaped its fire ring. Local fire department personnel and equipment knocked it down and had it contained and controlled on 7/4.
7/2 Dubois Buckboard 0.1 lightning This fire, approximately 30 miles west and north of Dubois, Idaho, was reported at 4:30 p.m. as a single tree, struck by lightning. It was on a ridge near Buckboard Gulch, and was contained and controlled by 8:30 p.m. on 7/2.
6/30 Pingree 1400 West, Bingham Assist #2 8 human Fire was reported at 4 pm and is burning on private property in grass and brush. Firefighters and 5 heavy engines responded and had the fire contained and controlled by 6:30 p.m. on 6/30.
6/27 Shelley Horsebend, Bingham Assist #1 11.7 power line Located west of Interstate 15 below Hell’s Half Acre. Threat to BLM lands. Local fire department knocked it down. Wildland engines completed line and mopped up incident. Contained and controlled on 6/27.
6/17 Pocatello Plantation 0.1 human Fire was a burning stump with an engine responding. Fire is contained and controlled on 6/17.
5/16 Soda Springs RX Burn 100 RX Crews will be burning 100 acres in the Soda Springs Idaho Ranch Canyon to promote aspen regeneration.
4/28 Lorenzo Lorenzo 1.3 human Fire started 3:00 Fire was contained and controlled by 4:30 p.m. on 4/28.
4/13 Fort Hall Swanson Loop 280 human  Fire was reported around 4 p.m. 3 Heavy engines and 15 firefighters are working the fire that is approximately 10 miles northwest of Chubbuck.
April Soda Springs RX Burn 50 RX Crews will be working in the Soda Springs area burning slash piles of up to 50 acres
